Run Run Run

Happy Patriot's Day! In Boston, Patriot's Day is a holiday commemorating the battles of Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775. These days, Patriot's Day is also referred to as Marathon Monday.

I'm impressed by all of the runners who will be making the 26.2 mile trek from Hopkington to Boston in the Boston Marathon today. It's inspiring to watch people cross the finish line, but even cooler to hear what motivates each runner to get there. Last year, Lululemon asked runners about their "Run Mantras" before the race- check out the video:

My favorite mantra in the video is "I run because I can." The events at last year's marathon were devastating, and several families are still recovering. If you're feeling Boston Strong today, donate to the One Fund, which continues to help and support those injured in last year's Boston Marathon bombings.
