After a long run recently, I was craving something sweet but our pantry was pretty empty. I decided to use some odds and ends and whipped up some quick cookies that were healthy-ish and delicious.
What You'll Need:
1 cup nut butter (I used crunchy peanut butter, but almond butter would be great too!)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
Pinch of coarse salt
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine all ingredients and stir until mixed. Yep, it's that easy.
- Spoon even tablespoons of dough onto your prepared baking sheet, spacing the cookies about 1 inch apart.
- Bake for 10 minutes, cool slightly, then enjoy!
