Using in-season flowers for any wedding or special event will help to cut costs and to ensure that you have a beautiful bouquet (Tip: if it's in season, you won't have to ship it in from a far corner of the world!). Here's a quick run-down on what's in season and when:

I love peonies, but I'm excited to see what Lea at Blackbird Floral has in store for our fall nuptials. We're using LOTS of beautiful greens to give our ceremony and reception a natural vibe, but you can bet that there will be pops of jewel-toned flowers all over the place!
