Vino Vino

I love wine, so after a long week of settling into our new city, Neal and I checked out a local wine bar called Vino Vino. We dined on soft cheese and roasted grapes from Cowgirl Creamery and then indulged in delicious seared pork chops with sunchokes and a bacon-corn succotash. Paired with a couple of very affordable glasses of wine, it was a perfect start to a fun Friday night.

If you're in the Austin area, Vino Vino is worth a visit. The dark, cellar-like ambiance would make a romantic setting for a casual date, or gather a group and enjoy a few bottles together.  

If you're not in Austin, come visit! But in the meantime, you can re-create the wine bar experience with some wine and food pairings at home or at your favorite restaurant.
